"Yapping session" is an expression used for caracterising a speech, talk, or a class that results in annoyance or even sleep, if the subject is as uninteresting as the person speaking.

Student 1: That was the biggest yapping session I've ever heard.
Student 2: Fr! I wasn't paying attention at all!
Student 3: Our Biology teacher loves yapping, even the smartest guy fell asleep.
Student 4 (a.k.a. the smartest guy in the A class of 11th grade and still asleep): What was the subject?
