The person lowest on the hierarchy of your workplace, who is most likely the first one dismissed during a layoff. Other workers will use the workplace canary as a sign of an impending layoff.

John:Hey Jeff did you hear they laid off Mike today?

Workplace Stockholm Syndrome

Going back to your place of work constantly when you're not working. Typical and most common in supermarket employees. Even though you hate your job, you love your place of work and go there all the time when you're off from work because its so much better, and if its a store you can freely buy things. Relatable to actual Stockholm Syndrome, when someone who is kidnapped gains pitty/respect for their captor.

Though the cashier hates his job at the supermarket, he constantly goes there when he's not working because of his severe case of Workplace Stockholm Syndrome.

In the age of COVID19, many people are working online and using video conferencing apps. When a person dresses in work clothes from the waist up and doesn't pay attention to what they're wearing below the waist because it can't be seen on video, they're wearing a workplace mullet.

Today on our online staff meeting, I wore a workplace mullet. No one knew I had my pajama bottoms on!

Noun-A term used to describe an individual who prefers the workplace as his/her dating pool. This person is typically the first to know about new hires , training sessions, and company outings. The workplace whore typically takes his/her unwanted behavior in a lunch setting and will often ogle and flirt with the waitstaff; may think his/her peers thinks its funny??? They appear to be always in pursuit; chatting co-workers up in the hallway, lobby, breakroom, chili cookoffs, company picnics, etc...They may use a holiday party as an opportunity to get their drink on and "go in for the kill"! etc...Truth be told, these folks use the workplace as a dating app and are too damn lazy to put themselves out there and pursue another outside of work.

Beverly is such a workplace whore! Wtf is she wearing that dress with her tits hanging out with those hideous "Fuck me boots"? At last years Christmas party she was super wasted and was hitting on the VP of Operations. At the afterparty she was on the dancefloor dry-humping Tommy in Marketing. So unprofessional!!!She hasn't figured out that "You don't shit where you eat"!!!

Workplace Rub Square Up

term referring to a counter move to the Workplace Rub. The square up is performed by facing the perpetrator and squaring your shoulders to them. This discourages the Rub due to the fact that it will make it look like the perpetrator is trying to molest the victim. If the Rub is still performed with the Square up in place Wing Chun will be required.
