Anyone who says the Beatles aren't the best band ever is lying. Their early music was mainly just superficial love songs, but they developped into an influential band with profound lyrics and just plain kickass music. They've been my favourite since I was 13.
The Beatles composed many amazing songs including Eleanor Rigby, Hey Jude, Come Together and Stawberry Fields Forever.

(Present day) it is considered a federal offense to claim that you do not consider them the best and last great thing to happen to the entirety of music. Regarding them as "meh", "okay" or "overrated" may result in, but is not limited to; severe berating/beating, vandalization of property, and/or having all you enjoy referred to as 'overrated'- regardless of its relevance to music; all punishments which may be delivered by hipsters, your parents/grandparents, the general public, etc...

Get the The Beatles mug.Alot of people who dont like them use the reason that they are overrated as a reason. You certainly don't have to like beatles music, but to say that they are overrated is a pile of crap. They influenced modern rock, and almost everyone copied them in some fasion.

Get the the beatles mug.Awesome rock band. Anybody who doesn't think so is wrong. I usually respect diffierent views, but in this case it's unexcusable. These 4 lads from Liverpool were a sensation that swept the world for 8 years(1962-1970). Their influence still lives on today. Without The Beatles, Rock just wouldn't be the same.

A Hard Days Night (Third album. Went along with their first movie)
Beatles For Sale (Fourth album. Responsible for their big hit Eight Days A Week, Words Of Love, Matchbox, Slow Down and others)
Help! (Went along with their second movie of the same name. Responsible for Help!, Ticket To Ride and Yesterday)
Rubber Soul (Sixth album. They were beginning their drug period during this album. You will notice the Sitar beginning to show up from George as well as John apparently inhailing reefer during the song "Girl")
Revolver (Seventh album. This album is good. It is responsible for songs like Yellow Submarine, And Your Bird Can Sing, Taxman and others)
