Stair Chair

A mystical phenomenon involving a chair that occurs in a University stair well. It is normally tied to Danny Devito, as some sort of pagan shrine. Common occurrences include the University of Lethbridge, and the University of Calgary. Although it has been spotted in SAIT, NAIT, UBC, and elsewhere across the country.

Dude: “hey bro did you see the stair chair today?”
Dudette: “yeah my guy, devito be praised ammirite? Now help me study or else I’m gonna flunk this calculus midterm”

(Also known as SCS) A syndrome in which you're about to fall asleep, but you have a dream where you fall from a significant height, causing you to awaken panicked.

Person 1: I keep having dreams where I think I'm falling from the stairs.
Person 2: You mean falling down the stairs?
Person 1: No, falling from the stairs. They collapse, and then I'm sent falling, which causes me to jerk awake.
Person 2: You might have Stair Collapse Syndrome.
Person 1: I already have sleep paralysis, I'm good.
