e-popularity

As the word suggests, this describes how popular one is on the internet. E-Popularity is common in online forums and is based simply on how many posts you have and how many people (or fan girls) respect you. The higher your e-popularity is, the more likely you're going to win any argument... whether you're right or wrong. Also, if your e-popularity is high enough, you may even become a mod or assistant admin. Some people create websites and forums simply to increase their e-popularity. Most attempts turn out unsuccessful.

False Popularity

False popularity is the illusion of being popular. This is when supporters do not actually believe in the person/thing they seem to be supporting. This is often caused by the supporters feeling forced or as if they have to support someone.

*Photos*on*Facebook* "LIKE AND SHARE IF YOU LOVE GOD; KEEP SCROLLING IF YOU WANT TO BURN IN HELL". This makes most people feel like they have to like and share the photo, thus making this false popularity.

imagined popularity

when you keeping hearing your cell phone or feel it vibrating in your pocket but it really isn't. You always reach in your pocket to grab it and no one has called.

I was suffering from imaginary popularity all day at work today i kept feeling the vibration but no one was calling, or in a large group of people who see you reach in your pocket or bag for your phone and watch you do nothing upon its' retrieval "haha sorry guys 'imagined popularity'."

The act of hatred towards some one or something that has an overrated amount of attention. People who might say "Fuck popularity" are those who aren't as noticed, third wheels, haters, and anyone else who isn't an overexposed attention whore. It's like what you might think when someone or something overshadows others or even yourself

When you get a reasonable amount of likes on a Facebook status and it gets stolen by somebody else who manages to get like a billion thumbs up for it. When your talking to a group of people and you feel proud and confident then someone comes along and steals your pride and your moment just because they have more popularity then you. So you think "Fuck popularity". Its really a jealously trait over someone more supreme
