hilarity ensues

An ending that can be put onto the ends of stories and plans. A convenient phrase to use when your story or plan sounded really dumb. It usually doesn't make much sense.

Me: Ok here's what's gonna happen: I'll go steal her key's and she will spend the whole night trying to find them!
Other People: (stare)
Me: Hilarity ensues.

Achieved when a crowd of people at a comedy club, theatre, park, or dwelling, are all infected with the same intelligent jokes which causes them to have uncontrollable, non-stop giggles.

The only way we're going to get through this pandemic is through Herd Hilarity. After all laughter is the best medicine.

When a person makes stupid jokes about any subject no matter what it is and always has to try to be funny.

My Dad drove me nuts on the way over, no matter what I said he made some stupid joke about it. He's thinks he's cool but all he does is wax hilaric.
