The reason behind our need to adopt herd behavior. The hereditary trait of people to act as a flock of sheep.

The strange and sad thing with the public is that they can be very easily manipulated or/and misguided. They can follow any charlatan-politician-leader-celebrity as long as he/she seems powerful or eloquent enough. I guess it is our own inert "herdity" to blame for this.
