Frosty Chocolate Milkshake Ending

An ending to a novel, television series, movie, or game that is extravagantly positive and where things only go right for the protagonists. Named for the stereotypical preteen novels that end in the protagonists enjoying the success of their adventure over a round of frosty chocolate milkshakes.

You know, having read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone over again now that I'm not 9, Dumbledore turning around and congratulating Gryffindor House for everything they thought they were getting in trouble for, to the point that they won the House Cup, looks like a real frosty chocolate milkshake ending now.

An ending or conclusion in a movie, book, or other literary work, in which lies a completely unforeseeable plot twist far from the expectations of the audience. Named after the ending of the first Saw film, in which Jigsaw stands up from the pool of blood in the center of the room.
