The mannerisms and speech patterns pertaining to characters typically written by snarky millennials. Common traits include:

-Juxtaposition of playground insults and swearing: 'piss baby, lil weenie bitch muffin'
-Overly verbose and self-aware speech
-Condescending/patronizing phrases
-Laughable attempts at resonating to younger target audiences via 'RELATABILITY'
-Pop culture references in lieu of actual humor
-Necessity to 'educate' someone whilst stating nothing of substance

-"This game has been ruined by millennial dialogue, and most of its political statements
are nothing short of preachy and surface-level."

-"Millennial dialogue is a plague that infests most TV series made in recent memory, as old executives
and 30-something writers attempt to connect to a younger audience, but fail miserably."

Dialogue

You guys need to get better at writing this. For real. You can't just end every movie with the same inspirational speech "You're so much stronger than you know. You have to believe in yourself. I believe in you!". It's bad. You don't understand subtlety. You don't understand how "dead air" can be used to enhance a scene. Oh, wait, I forgot I was a genius and that it isn't obvious to everyone. Nevermind. Carry on.

Hym "God am I tired of clunky dialogue. Every time a character can't control their power, they get the same exact line of dialogue that every other character who cannot control their powers gets when the plot demands that they use their power perfectly for the first time. It's fucking pathetic. You have a million dollars. You get paid a salary to do something that isn't hard for me and I'm fucking broke as a joke. It's sad. Like, the job you did was so ALMOST good that it physically pains me to watch. It would have taken like 30 seconds to fix. But nobody fucking asked me so now we're stuck with an almost good job instead of an excellent job. Damn. You'd think you would relish the chance to get a fee billion dollars. It would take so little effort for me to fix that shit that it's ACTUALLY absurd but nobody wants to let me out of the Truman Show-esque Hell in which I am trapped. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. And now you have my money. You sold me an undercooked steak and I have to choke it down and live with the worms you gave me because the alternative is sending it back to the kitchen so you can wipe your ass with it before you send it back to the table. Jesus Christ!"
