A quick beer. Typically used around 5-6 PM amongst colleagues. People suggesting or agreeing to go for a ninja beer usually have the mutual understanding that one quick beer could lead to many.

John: "Hey guys, let's go for a ninja beer?"
Susan: "I actually have work to do when I get home. Well.. F*ck it; Let's go for a quick one"

beer mom

A mom who drinks great beer. Can be spotted at breweries and beer tap houses with other Beer Mom friends and/or her kids. Just because she's a mom doesn't mean she can't school you on beer facts, the latest beer trends, and drink you under the table all while wrangling kids, cooking dinner, folding laundry, and changing dirty diapers.

A Beer Mom just ordered a DIPA at the bar with a kid on her hip, while my pansy ass is trying to look cool with a domestic.

Guffy Beer

A kind of beer which, by definition, has to be non-mainstream, pretentious, unnecessary to get drunk on and tastes like fizzed up baking soda. The most common kinds are German wheat beers, Dutch porters and Belgium ales, or are otherwise sourced from some kind of country which is at least 1000 miles away. Consumption of such beer entitles said individual to the esteemed prize of 'Top Guffy', or the more recent 'Guffy of The Year Award', and upon drinking a guffy beer one will turn into a deranged lunatic who spouts off nonsense at the top of their voice. They certainly get you drunk quick though.

"Stu just bought a Weihenstephan, he certainly likes his guffy beer."

"I could sure go for a Paulaner Heffe Weisse right now."
"Wow, you sure are a guffy."

Iron City Beer

n. The main product made by Iron City Brewing Company, which was formerly the Pittsburgh Brewing Company until the brewery moved from Pittsburgh to Latrobe, PA. While Iron City Beer is classified as a macro-Pilsner, it is closer in taste to an India Pale Ale. As such, Iron City Light Beer has more flavor than most "regular" macro-Pilsners. Iron City Beer is known as an "ahn" by the locals (in Pittsburghese), and is a significant part of Pittsburgh's culture, and particularly its sports culture.

People who are used to other macro-Pilsners like Budweiser or Miller find Iron City Beer to be too malty and over-hopped--descriptions range from piss to "the slag off a steel mill."
