To repair something to a "useable" state (as opposed to properly repairing) through the use of wire, bailing twine, duct tape, coat hangers, or similar items commonly found in a junk drawer or in the trunk of a '74 Coupe DeVille. This is a politically correct version of other, more derrogatory slang.

Fool, antennas is only 1.00 at Radio Shack. Why you gotta go and minority rig it with a coat hanger and some duct tape?
