The act of beginning a relationship with someone who you've fantasized about having a relationship with for a long period of time. When you begin the actual relationship, you are making it reality official.

Technically we've been dating for 6 months, but that was only in my head. We just made it reality official last week.

disappointing. You might be all about snorting and pooping rainbows, spreading positive vibes, making people laugh but the world ain't full of that. People will steal your stuff/work and won't give credits to you. That's reality and Reality is often disappointing.
