Set records for; most points scored in a season, most touchdowns in a season, largest point diiferential in a season, most touchdown passes in a season and most touchdown receptions in a season. Enroute to their 4th NFL Championship vanquished, Dallas, Indianapolis, Pittsburg, San Diego, Jacksonville, NY Giants, Washington all of which were playoff teams.

19-0 is all that need be said about the 2007 New England Patriots.

patriotism 

Alot of people seem to have the exact definition of patriotism wrong.

Patriotism is the pride in your country, to love your nation because of what it defends and maintains, or in our case, freedom.

However, some twisted fuckers confused it with nationalism, which is NOT patriotism, and is really to submit yourself to the authority of your government, and do everything you can do maintain the survival of your militant nation, especially self sacrifice in the name of blind hate and racism.

A real American example of patriotism is one that defends our rights of protest and freedom. This may also include debating our Federal Government's decisions on social security, medicare, banking, as well as wars.

A fake, sick, un-American, nationalist bigot is some idiot who supports unjust wars in the name of getting to watch muslims die on CNN, without any interest in improving or reforming unjust social and political conditions.

New England Patriots 

a football team based in MA, who has beaten numerous odds, in 85 and 96 by making it to the super bowl, and from 2001-2004 winning 3 super bowls, 21 consecutive games, and 10 consecutive post-season games. they have broken other records as well, but that's another topic. Many of the fans were behind the Pats when they had a 4 win season, so you better believe they're eccstatic now that they're winning

people don't like the patriots because they're winning, and have pretty much (though i hate to admit it) become the new york yankees of football. it's 'cool' to hate the pats, and accuse them of everything the media has accused them of, even though they did something that every other team is still doing (including the whiney-ass jets).

In the 07-08 season the patriots did what only two other teams have ever done, gone undefeated in the regular season (Bears twice in the 60's, the dolphins in 78), but they lost the super bowl to the luckiest team since the 01-02 Pats (oh yeah, i compared you guys to the pats), the new york giants, whom i respect, and believe Eli Manning will be twice the QB his brother is.

The New England Patriots beat you because you suck, get over it.

Patriocentricy

adv. The unhealthy infatuation with ones country and nationality causing the individual to become ignorant of other countries and cultures.

The exchange student became extremely patriocentric, causing him to become ostracized by his fellow international students.

The individuals patriocentricity escalated to an extreme level when they started to be critical of inmigrants and foreigners.

One must be cautious not to come over as patriocentric when visiting other countries because it will be extremely offensive to their culture.

Note: Patriocentricy will cause one to lose any international friends and possibly friends of the same nationality from coming over as obnoxious.
