Etch-a-sketch vision

Etch-a-sketch vision is when someone you are staring at is playing naive, and you are stuck there having to make eye contact or listen to them for so long listening to how much of a 'Class A" personality they have and then everything starts to look like an etch a sketch because you have had to put up with too much violence for too long.

When I had to speak to a now religious therapist, who was a former prison psychiatrist, they tried to play down my ptsd and make jokes about it- and then came the etch-a-sketch vision...
