Homosexual

'Homo' means 'of the same'. Therefore, Homo-sexual, means 'attracted to someone of the same sex'. Typically, this term is used to describe a male being attracted to another male. BUT, this term may also be used to describe a female being attracted to another female; this type of attraction can also be reffered to as Lesbian. A different word that is used to describe homosexuality is 'gay'.

Henry came out to his family as homosexual when he was 17 years old..

Alison came out as homosexual to both her friends and her family when she was only 13 years old..
