(n.) an unspecified period of time before spring break during which a student (or faculty member) loses the ability to accurately perceive the passage of time.
Dr. Richard Block identified a framework of four interrelated factors that affect this perception: (1) characteristics of the time experiencer, (2) time-related behaviors and judgments, (3) contents of a time period, and (4) activities during a time period.
The Spring Break Effect will cause noticeable changes in everyday life. For example, students will likely experience feelings of acedia (mental sloth, apathy, indifference, boredom) or exhaustion caused by sleep deprivation. Days will run together to the point where they are distinguished only by the assignments or exams scheduled. Most of an individual's "productive" time will be spent on academic tasks that will range between mindless and tedious. (If a suffer is subjected to these conditions for extended periods of time, particularly when tasks are mindlessly tedious, it is recommended that they consult a mental health professional.) Finally, those affected will spend increased and possibly unhealthy amounts of time on social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest, if the subject is female).

Person A: "How is it only Tuesday?"
Person B: "I don't know. It feels like Friday."
Person C: "Dude, you're experiencing the Spring Break Effect."
Person A: "Is that fatal?"
Person C: "No, but staying awake for 72 hours might."
Person B: "Shit."

When a person has all the bad luck in the world and can’t ever catch a break. To have everything that happens in your life never go in your favor. Basically the worst luck in the world.
Joe: “Bro, I got a red light ticket for $250 even though I was stopped the whole time.”
Trevor: “That my friend is the Joe Effect!”

When an employee, without being directly detrimental to the company, help other employees seeing they might have better opportunities somewhere else.
Employee 1: I know other companies have great benefits, but they really trust me here.
Employee 2: Damn dog, you need to explore other option where you are now in your career.
HR: We are losing a lot of employees in that department, might be the Joe Effect

The Nero Effect is the phenomenon of becoming a more hateful and rude person once you are in the presence of "Nero" (Pharaoh). This strange effect has no research to determine its known causes but researchers have developed a theory that it spreads through NCT or negative cursed technique. NCT is how Nero is able to channel his hater and it spreads through reading his messages or communicating with him in any way.
Nero: Shut up n*gga
Cici: that's not nice or sum soft shi
Phillip: Tiwa shut up damn
Nero Effect the act of becoming a hater around Nero

A combination of the Streisand Effect, Mandella Effect and the Dunning-Krueger Effect all rolled into one. When a person is too dumb to admit defeat and they cope so hard it glitches the matrix. Named after the famous crash out of Billy Carson in 2024 which led to everyone making reaction streams to his insane doubling down and denial of reality.
"Dude take your L like a man and move on, you don't wanna invoke The Billy Carson Effect and make it worse."

When a comedian makes a negative political ad disguised as a comedy piece to encourage the average viewer to pay attention and be more open to receiving and considering the criticism embedded within the humor; specifically, the Fey Effect is when this bit has an important, lasting effect on real world politics.
It comes from Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live, which negatively affected the public's opinion of Palin.

The Fey Effect is partly responsible for Palin's relevancy declining significantly in the past 10 years.
