A term defied by MisterJones at the Steve Hoffman Forums in the thread entitled "Classical 'Mega' CD Box Sets" to define a box set release consisting of between 5 to 15 individual CDs. This term is used in contrast to "Mega CD Box Sets" which are releases consisting of 35 plus discs.
On May 14, 2021, Decca released an 11 disc snack box - "Riccardo Chailly Stravinsky Edition" which I purchased as an alternative to the 30 disc DG "New Stravinsky Complete Edition" mega box.

Get the Fox in the boxmug. Hot Box is a derogatory term referring to Indian people. The historical context behind this slur comes from the Amritsar Massacre. The massacre entailed the British opening fire on a crowd of Indian people in an enclosed building with 3 small exits (allowing little to no people to escape). The "Hot" in "Hot Box" refers to the heat of the ammunition and people and the "Box" refers to the enclosed building the crowd was stuck in. Hot Box and HBox are regularly used as a means to degrade Indian people.
