This effect suggests that individuals who remain employed tend to be healthier than those who retire or leave the workforce due to health reasons. Essentially, individuals who are healthier and have fewer health issues are more likely to be able to continue working past the retirement age, while those with poorer health or underlying conditions may be more inclined or forced to retire at the statutory age.

Studies show the healthy worker effect is real; people who stay employed often stay healthier, while those who retire early due to health issues tend to be in worse shape.

The act of insisting that content is unfunny and boring has the unintended consequence of making that content even funnier and more interesting. A corollary to the Streisand Effect, which brings attention to content that’s attempted to be censored.

This comedy act demonstrates the Chappelle Effect: as funny as it is, it’s even funnier now that everyone says there’s nothing funny about it.

Trump effect

1. (noun) The increase in racially-motivated bullying of minority students in U.S. public and private schools immediately following the election of Donald Trump as President, and attributed to Trump’s own rhetoric aimed at non-white American people, such as banning Muslim people from entering the United States, describing people of Mexican descent as violent criminals, etc. 2. (noun) The phenomenon in U.S. public and private schools of students using the name of President Trump, or one the slogans used by supporters at his rallies, such as “build the wall,” “send them back,” etc., as a taunt directed at minority students, especially at sporting events. 3. (noun) The increase in fear, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts, and subsequent worsening of academic performance, observed in minority students following the election of President Donald Trump, often as the result of being a victim of racially-motivated bullying (see definition 1)

But whether or not a student is a member of a targeted group, all students witnessing it in action are vulnerable to the stresses of The Trump Effect.

Ibe effect

A phenomenon where an individual or group of clean, innocent, and pure individuals begin to rapidly make bad decisions with their lives due to an Ibe. They engage in activities such as sex, drugs, and alcohol after spending time with an Ibe, almost as if influenced by a contagious virus. The life of someone who has suffered from the Ibe Effect will tremendously decline and never be the same. Coming back from this depressing experience will take much time and extreme patience. It may seem impossible but you can and will survive. Use protection to avoid infection.

The Montreal Effect

If you are not from the Montreal area, and you stay for longer than just a visit, you may be affected by the "Montreal Effect". The Montreal Effect is recognizable by it's taking over of a previously patient and soft tempered personality. Once it's effect have acted on a new Montreal resident, the person shows symptoms of agressiveness on the road, loss of patience, and selfishness.

- I am so irratable and mad at everything, I don't know what's wrong with me lately...?!
