The Exotical Effect

This term refers to the lived experiences of most Exoticals (whether Dark-Skinned, Brown-Skinned, or Light-Skinned);

'Exoticals' attract admiration, but they also stir up envy/jealousy in others, whatever room they walk into;

The effects of a pretty, wealthy, talented, or successful 'Exotical' person;

The impact or influence that an 'Exotical' person has on another person, a group of people, or an entire nation;

When societal changes are made due to an 'Exotical' person's presence;

When an 'Exotical' exerts his or her privilege(s).
When people say stuff like:

1) "That person is only successful because of their looks..."
2) "Nothing was implemented until *Anna with the Curly Hair* joined our team/department!"
3) "She must have used her *exotic features* to get people to like her..."
4) "He only gets all the chicks because he has *green eyes*…"
5) "No one knows how they do it. It's magic...it's 'The Exotical Effect'!"

Scenarios:

1) When an 'Exotical' person does something, everybody else now wants to do it.
2) Exoticals making things more desirable...
3) All of a sudden there are now copycats and imitators that want to be like the 'Exotical' or even be the 'Exotical'...

Ebony Exotical 

This term is a spin-off of the term, 'Dark(er)-Skinned Exotical' (DSE), and it is used to describe Dark-Skinned women who are Mixed, or 'look Mixed' with Black and Indian, Black and Arab/Middle Eastern, Black and East Asian, Black and Native American/Cherokee, Black and Mediterranean/Hispanic/Latin, and/or Black and European/British & Irish etc;

Usually, these women have a phenotypical combination of Dark Skin, naturally Curly Hair or Wavy Hair (but may sometimes wear it straight/sleeked), and/or Slim or Keen Facial Features;

They sometimes have red or golden undertones to their dark skin.
"That girl over there is a beautiful Ebony Exotical!"
"She has such beautiful skin and hair!"
"They are super exotic, look at their features..."
Everyone is jealous of her because she is an Ebony Exotical...

This acronym stands for 'Dark(er)-Skinned Exotical' men and women;

Also known as 'Dark-Skinned Exotical' and/or 'Darker-Skinned Exotical';

A dark(er)-skinned Mixed-race (Biracial, Tri-Racial, Multi-Racial, MGM (Multi-Generationally Mixed), or admixed) person;

A Mixed-race person, whom considers themself to be 'dark', 'darker', or 'dark brown' (as in, not Light-Skinned/LS);

A dark(er)-skinned Mixed-race person, who has dark skin, with red or golden undertones and one or more of the following phenotypes: a naturally loose curl pattern (Type 3 curly hair, Type 2 wavy hair), or Type 1 straight hair, naturally brown, blonde, jet black, or red hair, sharp, keen or slim facial features, a light eye-colour, slanted or almond-shaped eyes, freckles/moles/beauty marks;

A Monoracial Black person who looks 'racially ambiguous' or 'atypical', whom considers themself to be 'dark', 'darker', or 'dark brown'/not LS), and has one or more of the following phenotypes: a naturally loose curl pattern (Type 3 curly hair, Type 2 wavy hair) or Type 1 straight hair, naturally brown, blonde, jet black, or red hair, sharp, keen or slim facial features, a light eye-colour, slanted or almond-shaped eyes, freckles/moles/beauty marks.
Amara La Negra is a DSE because she is a stunning dark-skinned Afro-Latina, and has slim facial features;

Chilli from TLC is a DSE because she is a darker-skinned Mixed-race woman, and has very pretty type 2 wavy hair;

Kenya Moore is a DSE because she is a gorgeous dark-skinned Black woman who has hazel eyes, and shiny, loose, type 2/3 wavy-curly hair;

Nia Long is a very beautiful Darker-Skinned Exotical. She has freckles, keen facial features, and a red undertone;

Tyson Beckford is a handsome Dark-Skinned Exotical man, who is Mixed-race. He has a beautiful dark complexion, and slanted eyes.

Being a Dark(er)-Skinned Exotical is something to be proud of because it makes us unique!

He had never seen so many DSE women before...
