Somatic Dissonance is the internal tension that arises when a person's nervous system, body sensations, and intuitive knowing signal misalignment with external beliefs, relationships, or social systems; it reflects the body detecting distortion or misalignment before teh mind fully understands it.

Some key elements include:

Somatic Dissonance is discombobulating AF! A modern evolution of the "nomad." While an ancestral nomad wandered from place to place in search of food to survive, a Somad (social-mad) wanders from place to place in search of 5G signal, trending aesthetic spots, and clout. A Somad’s survival is entirely dependent on "likes" rather than calories.
