This is when you are not looking forward to something which would ordinarily be awesome or fun, because something terrible or incredibly boring happens directly before it. For example, finals and summer break. One would ordinarily be excited about summer break, however one can't feel the excitement, because they are more stressed over having to climb the mountain (taking finals).
Summer break is right around the corner, but I'm not looking forward to it because of finals. Damn mountain effect.

Mountain Lakes is a town in New Jersey. If you don't live there, you would not know how: We DO NOT smoke a lot, nor do we drink, we DO have good diversity, we DO NOT have a large amount of bullying, we DO NOT have drug games such as "beruit," we WORK HARD for our good sports, I DO NOT play lacrosse and I'm pretty popular in school, and so on. Our high school is exceptional. If you don't live there, then don't make up false lies and rumors about what happens here.

N. A remote village on a grassy mound in the gold coast hinterland (Australia) with a population of about 350, half of which are old and senile, the other have just been freshly squeezed from their mother. Regarded as a 'hole' by much of the youth of the Gold Coast, but far more evolved/developed/human than that of its neighbours, Canungra and Beaudesert (which by comparison make 'tambo' seem like a sprawling metropolis).
