Simping

The unilateral serving of women from men, including all forms of flattery, emotional support, and ego boosting WITHOUT RECIPROCATION in the hope of gaining sexual favors or moral status as "a good guy" or "nice guy" in order to gain sexual favors from other women of the targeted "simping" social/social media following groups.

This term does not apply for women towards men, because men do not lose interest or respect for women willing to put effort, kindness, and resources into them, with the exception of sexual favors given freely without much effort or reciprocation. I.e. a slut.

In essence, the old term of slut/slag has been reimagined and reconfigured to fit today's issue of pathetic men from uninhibited women.

Tony is simping for Angela. He keeps giving her all these gifts, buying her lunch, and telling her how hot and amazing she is, but she don't give him the time of day and just gets her back blown out by the basketball team. It's sad man.
