Bait used to be believable

A memetic term used to describe how much rage bait (and trolling in general) has declined in the past decade, becoming so obvious and low-effort that you'd have to be mighty stupid to fall for it.
Obvious hacker: "Bruhhh I got banned because I was too good at this game for those stupid plebs bruhhh the mods are losers bruhhh"

Chad: "Bait used to be believable."

They'll never believe you

A meme phrase associated with mute characters typically said only in earshot of one person, as nobody will believe they spoke and if the other person says they spoke they'll just look crazy
Mute Character: They'll never believe you.
Joe Schmoe: HOLY SHIT YOU HAVE VOCAL CORDS???

Can’t Believe He’s Gone

A game invented by a brother and sister on December 25th 2016. It was a long holiday week of drinking. To hear the sister tell it, when news of George Michael’s death broke that evening, the brother was seen crying into his Christmas roast, repeating the phrase “can’t believe he’s gone”.

In its current form, the game consists of racing to inform the other first when a mutually-important celebrity dies.

There’s been talk of a point system, but one hasn’t yet materialized.
AP: This just in, Pope Francis has died of unknown causes.

Text: Can’t believe he’s gone!

Reply: Who? I didn’t see anything. Oh now I do. That’s a big one.

If that's what you believe then shoot me

During the end of the spec ops, the line campaign John Konrad said this
