Well techinically, popular means well liked, and well known, and just because you don't like one of them doesn't mean that no 1 else does
Well, lots of popular girls can be bitchy, but many others are really nice people, with great senses of humour, and who cares if they're sluts or do drugs...its a stupid decision, but you can't judge them because of it.
