Dark Pop

Pop generally is feel good music, where as dark pop makes you uncomfortable. You can still feel good with certain lyrics of dark pop though. You can’t really consider dark pop mainstream because of its rawness, but it still can maintain a catchy hook/chorus and appeal to a certain market.

The weeknd can be considered dark pop sometimes because of his under tones but also his steamy lyrics or hard hitting lines which some mainstream audiences may find too graphic, but isnt directly R&B.

Lil peep, lil tracy, xxxtentacion, lil clair and Juice Wrld have also made dark pop songs before.

Weesh pop

To fix the bad taste of burnt dope in a pipe by filling pipe with butane before igniting it. Name originates from the butane sounding like a rush of air "weesh" when you shoot it through the pipe. When u depress the button on the torch to ignite the butane & flash the bowl it makes a "pop" sound
