The word deriving from “Caucasoid” as “groid” does from “Negroid”, and “loid” from “Mongoloid,” a “soid” comes from the same group that coined the latter slurs (“groid” and “Negroid” are derogatory terms for Black people; and “loid” and “Mongoloid” for both Asian people AND anyone with Down syndrome).
