Though DeviantArt is home to a wealth of talented artists, it has seemingly become an online gathering place for Emos, Fangirls and Moe-whores.

Furthermore, a, now considerable, proportion of the art is comprised of fanart (and fanfiction to a lesser extent) and poorly drawn nude art that, serving no purpose as actual art, is better defined as cheap, low quality pornography.

Devil Woman

"Devil Woman" is a term used when dealing with an abnormally aggressive and dramatic female. It is meant to be humorous generally, especially if said in front of the woman in question. Common in Arab-speaking countries, and generally just a widespread "cheeky" insult/label.

"Ran into Mrs. Egar at that the market, she gave me the look of the Devil Woman!"

blue eyed devil

A term for white people -- usually white men -- originating in Asian countries where white soldiers were stationed during wartime (Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, etc.). The term is not only a slur on racial "intruders" but implies an anxiety about the seductive but dangerous effect of "exotic" blue-eyed men on local women and, more generally, on local culture.

"Kim, you must not consort with that blue eyed devil American. He will only use you for his pleasure and then be gone, bringing dishonor upon us all. If you continue to see him, you are no longer my daughter!"

Tampa Bay Devil Rays

A baseball franchise that continues to struggle despite bringing in Lou Piniella to manage the team for three seasons. For some reason professional franchises in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area have a difficult time setting a precedent for winning (e.g. Buccaneers and Lightning). Although this appears to be the case, both the Buccaneers and the Lightning won championships. The Devil Rays have the lowest payroll and will continue to have a difficult time winning on account of this as well as the management being ideal about the future. The Devil Rays will surpass the Kansas City Royals and Pittsburgh Pirates in the next few seasons, and could put together 70 wins depending on how well the youth progresses and whether or not an identity is established. Mind you the Devil Rays do play in one of the more difficult divisions. They were never blessed with much luck initially.

I really like the new Tampa Bay Devil Rays look, but I am not sure if they can pull together a .500 season. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens...

The euphoric state entered when a Dev song comes on at a club. Often causes one to black out and not remember anything until after said song is finished. Usually occurs after the consuption of alcohol.

The best part of the night was when Top of the World came on! I know! But i don't remember anything after the begining of the song, I have Devilepsy
