where you can study part time and still go to normal high school:
audition required

you can take:
visual arts (photography, metals, ceramics, drawing&painting), jazz guitar, dance, drama, music theory, voice, creative writing, chamber music, film&video umm...pretty sure that's it

A bit like the Governor's School for the Arts only much, much chiller and without the "we're so great" attitude and all the gay guys. Also, you don't have to wear mis-matching socks and listen to minimilistic electronica to fit in at the FAC.

There's a mix of arty, emo, nerds, scene kids, hipsters, grunge kids, hippies, kids from the 'hood, preppies, goths: everyone is welcome and gets along, etc, etc...

The Fine Arts Center? yah, it's pretty much the chillest place on Earth

Center kids

Kids who hang out at shopping centers at their free time, and have suicidal thoughts and act in such manners. They cut themselfs, paint their hair in glowing colors, and drink alcohol and do drugs.

Person 1: man did you see those kids in the back?
Person 2: yeah I think they are drinking gasoline
Person 1: yeah, these are some center kids

Lowell Community Health Center

1A great resource for the city of Lowell, MA, provided you're latino/cambodian/asian. Do not i repeat do not go there if you're white/gay/want any kind of emotional support, just don't go there. Half the staff barely speak any english, and they treat an HIV diagnosis the way people talk about the time of day, i.e. without any sensitivity. Not racist but that's what I experienced. If you go to UMass Lowell, just go to the
doctor/clinic/community health center back home where you live.
2. Any such place with a similarly complete lack of sensitivity to patients' emotional needs

Ana/Barbara/whatever her name is: *stammering and struggling to form coherent English words*: ....it won't kill you fast.

Patient: Thanks for that incredibly sensitive response to this obviously life-changing moment. Real professional and comforting. Glad to know that Lowell Community Health Center also cares about its white patients.

the center

a place in newtown ct where kids hang out and make plans for later in the night. this is located in a shopping center in the middle of town. usually teenagers meet here when they want to meet up, or go here when theres nothing to do that night. sometimes kids pregame drink and blaze weed in this parking lot.
