HIM effect

When you start listening to a band or artist you never listened to before (or even heard of) because you met someone who listens to them and got a crush on them. Named after the finnish gothic rock band HIM. It started from when people would meet Diksi or Joca, then they'd get a crush on one of them and start listening to their favourite band HIM.
A: And then she said bye back and I put on my headphones and listened to Curta'n wall. Ohhh man.
B: Since when did you start listening to Curta'n wall?!?!
A: Since forever duhhh
B: Shut up dude, you've been listening to them ever since you met Jane.
A: Aw man, it's the HIM effect once again...

The troll effect

When somebody on the internet starts trolling in a comment thread, it often elicits more people to come and troll (for the lulz). The larger the "troll train", the more trolls it will attract. This is known as the troll effect.
User 1: Wow! It's so nice to see another rover on mars!
User 2 (in reply to User 1): Bet they didn't tell you that the footage was all recorded in a studio!!
User 3 (in reply to User 2): Shhhh!! Brainwashed people are sensitive to these truths. Careful with what you say ;)
User 4: This is obviously all fake. I call BS.
User 5: You guys really believe that this is real? lmao
User 6: Can you trolls just shut the fuck up? You're only amplifying the troll effect.

Charles Effect

The “Charles” effect (named after Charles the First for having inconsistent facial features in his paintings) is the effect of noticing distinct changes in somebody’s facial features over a short period of time in photos. A sort of Mandela effect, only difference is that the “Charles” effect targets specific parts of a persons body, Face shape, proportions, and hairline.
Charles Effect - the effect of noticing distinct changes in somebody’s facial features over a short period of time in photos, (face shape, hair line, overall proportions).

Example - Wow, the Charles Effect is really taking a toll on my friend blank. I can’t image having a normal hairline one picture, and a receding one in the next, wow!

The Caulin Davis Effect

The product of including someone in your band, only to realize shortly that your band now sucks horribly. Symptoms include excessively being made fun of, the odd desire to add two-stepping to all your performances, frequently getting the stinkeye from others, or just sucking all together.
Woah man, why is it every band that this guy is in sucks?

That, my friend, is The Caulin Davis Effect at work.

The Conneld Effect

The effect in which you have something planned for, a stream let's say. And then your entire plan goes to dookie because you get side tracked and make yourself the Wide Putin meme for some reason.
