Just Kidding Rowling

An insult aimed at J.K. Rowling by wannabe literature snobs who like to spend all their time critiquing teen fantasy books because they're bitter that nobody wants to publish their own rubbish. The root of the insult is that J.K. Rowling uses a lot of the plot device deus ex machina (in this case, going back and changing the ending as in reversing time to fix a problem or adding/changing a detail hence "just kidding!"), widely considered a literary cop-out but generally accepted in literature intended for children by all but the most persnickety critics.

Hermione goes back in time in Harry Potter book 3 so that Sirius Black can escape prison.

hardcore scene kid

very confused with sexuality, likes screamo alot, looks extremely gay but other scene chicks dig it apparently. has no interest in any good music. is obsessed with the letter x. always claims edge and then breaks it. pretends to like hardcore sometimes so they can dance like dumbasses. sometimes some of them will claim to like death metal but u should never believe them becuz the death metal bands they like are deathcore and r scene as well. scene kids also will tell you their not scene and that they are just being themselves but that makes them more scene.

The Kids are alright

Saying originally coined by girl duo Chloe x Halle. It means that no matter how crazy the world is right now (currently: riots, global warming, racial tensions etc), the current generation will be able to face them and adults should stop worrying about them.

Person 1: when I see everything that’s going on in the world, Global warming, police brutality, covid 19... i just feel bad for Generation Z.

Person 2: the kids are alright. They’re strong and determined to make the world a better place: i believe in them.

hood scene kid

A hood scene kid is a person who dresses scene. But, they are tough and can fight. Also, they have a tendency to talk in ghetto slang. Such as, 'yo, can i get a bogey?' They also have a tendency to get in trouble a lot.

boy 1: have you heard of nik hecktik?
boy 2: yeah, he's a scene kid.
boy 1: nah, he's a hood scene kid.

Front Row Kids

These are the people are gigs and concerts who stand right at the front. They tend to hold onto the gate or actual stage very tightly, so that they do not get pulled into the mosh pit behind them. They are often emo or scene kids. They try to stay focused on the band and stay nearest the front as possible so they do not get hurt. They will turn their head ever so often and make a little noise "eeek" "arrrh" and a worried face, then just focus on the band again. They pretend to just be there for the music. You will never actually see these people move untill the gig has finished or they have to go home, and if this is before the end of the gig, they will travel in small groups and cling never tightly to each other.

Those front row kids make me laugh.
