Dick ego is basically a term/label for fragile masculinity that doesn't help anyone including the man himself. It is often associated with masculinity that hinders emotional vulnerability with anyone including bros, and openness to experiences that are non-normative, unconventional, and maybe considered accepted behavior for a man.
