Any person, most often in the military, who operates radar, sonar, or weapons fire control equipment where constant staring at a cathode ray tube (CRT) or other visual device is required.

The scope dopes in sonar control carefully watched the contact on their screen trying to determine of it was an actual submarine.

dope-frown

Referring to the period after which a drug ceases to have it's effects felt. A Come-down. Conversely, the initial effects would have the user experiencing a dope-smile, but uttering such a antithesis would be in essence dopey, and/or idiotic.

Dude! I had such a "dope-frown" an hour after I smoked all that weed, I had to drink another couple of beers to get back up there again.

dope stoner

A dope stoner is someone who smokes dope (meth, crack) without feining for it. As if they were just smoking weed. Not a common breed, seeing as most people that smoke dope are fiends.
