Someone, typically an adolescent, whose mother has left them and moved to another state (preferably South Carolina) to live with her new boyfriend. It doesn’t seem to bother him too much. He never spent much time with her anyway, especially after the divorce. He’d usually rather watch movies in the one-bedroom apartment he lives in with his dad. Still, you can’t help but wonder if he really does miss her.
