Pulling a Brandi

Pulling a Brandi, is when someone you know completely mis-uses an expression, gets it completely wrong but thinks they know what they're talking about and then tries to provide an explanation for it.

Brandi: "I can't believe you heard that that! You must have Eagle Ears!"
Other person: "WTF are eagle ears?"
Brandi: "You know, the Eagles use them to see mice from really far away. Eagle ears."
Other person: ..................yup. Pulling a Brandi again.
