Tough guy syndrome is when a guy who can do almost anything thinks he's infallible all the time and does stupid things thinking he won't get hurt or suffer the consequences. A guy who defines himself as 10 foot tall and bulletproof, man of steel. Cockiness. Its also the guy who is always working on something.
My man would not turn the breaker off when doing electrical work because it doesn't really hurt when you get shocked by 110. Tough guy syndrome is a real thing.
