An anonymously written Russian book based in the 1800's about a about a very sweet, humble, selfless guy who goes on a pilgrimage after loosing his wife and farm. He reads the Bible constantly and wants to know what it means in Thessalonians when it says "pray without ceasing". So he sets out to find a teacher who will teach him how to pray incessantly and why. After walking for weeks and weeks the man finally finds an old monk who tells him that the prayer God really wants to hear is The Jesus Prayer (Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me). The monk tells him how to repeat the prayer without ceasing and after practicing the pilgrim masters it. He says the prayer silently to himself over and over, when he's talking to others, reading, and even sleeping. To stop saying it causes him great unhappiness and pain after a while because it's become a part of him. The point of the book is to awaken the world to the benefits of saying the prayer to yourself constantly. "Enlightenment is supposed to come with the prayer, not before it. The idea, really, is that sooner or later, completely on its own, the prayer moves from the lips and the head down to a center in the heart and becomes an automatic function in the person, right along with the heartbeat."

An ill fated fighting game created for the ill fated system 3DO. Way of the Warrior was a 2D fighting game developed by Naughty Dog (yes, the same people that made Crash Bandicoot). This game involve the use of digitized graphics (yes, the same graphios they used in Mortal Kombat). The game was criticized for its stiff control, absurd jumping, and horrendous animation. The game involved some hilarious MK parody characters such as; Konotori (a parody of Kung Lao and Kitana), Crimson Glory (a redneck biker woman who possibly played on Sonya), Major Gaines (a soldier who chucks grenades and takes steroids), Shaky Jake (a drunk Aussie who breaths fire), Fox (a complete parody of Jax, a tall black guy with sais), Nikki Chan (?), the Dragon (hahaha, a Bruce Lee ripoff), Nobunage (a kendo warrior), the Ninja (he shoots lighting bolts), Kull the Despoiler (a giant skeleton), High Abbott (a dragon), and Gulab Jamun (Gulab Jamun is an Indian dessert, the game Gulab is an evil swami). The game tanked and was forgotten by many but remembered by some.

The rear facing seat in the very back (third row) of a 1960s era Station Wagon. It folded down into the floor for a smooth cargo area or folded up as a smaller bench seat, often the youngest kids were seated there. Very dangerous location if there was a collision, especially as there were often no seat belts.
Maybe the reason for the title of the movie The Way Way Back is because Duncan couldn't get far enough away from Steve Carell even in the Way Back.
