a N word pass is something that a black person gives a white person if the white person requests it. so say if i get a N word pass i can go up to a black man and say what is up my nigga and the black person can not freak out as long as you have the n word pass on you (in your pocket)

Black man: "You certainly can just let me write it out"
Whit man to a different Black man: "whats up Nigga"
black man: "you aren't allowed to say that"
