Grotto Monster

A greatly feared beast that resides in small shaded bodies of water. Preferred habitat is a cave with a waterfall covering the entrance. The Grotto Monster will spring upon prey and destroy them with powerful jaws and arms eating nearly every body part. Due to ferocious attacks he remains perhaps one of most feared monsters in Northern California although he has been spotted several times in southern California.

No one has every captured footage of the Grotto Monster, because no eyewitnesses are ever found. The earliest recording of the Grotto Monster's Legend is somewhere in the early 1980's. Although the sources are plentiful they remain spurious.

"Oh my God! Run for your lives its the Grotto Monster!"

A: My roommate just got cable and I saw Fox News for the first time...no wonder politics has gotten so rabid....

B: Yeah, since Obama won it's been wall-to-wall 22 Minute Hate.

McIlwain Minute

Similar in nature to a Mexican Minute, it indicates a lack of urgency or a tendency to show up at ones own leisure, with little regard for others time.

Nick arranged a game of FIFA to start at 9:35pm, however didn't show up untl 9:50. The length of time that passed before he showed up is a McIlwain Minute.

Shopping minute

Unit of time used by a woman when she calls for "just a minute". A shopping minute is significantly longer than a regular minute, though, to date, the exact duration is still unknown by the whole male population.

Similar in many regards to the dick inch measurement unit.

W : Honey, it will be just a minute.
M : Yeah, sure. A shopping minute, I guess !?
