A Rubik's cube relationship is a relationship that has gone south, typically with a narcissist. Trying to get the relationship back to where it once was, is like trying to restore a Rubik's cube back to its factory new condition. a- Due to being poor, a Russian citizen might join the military to commit war crimes for more rubles. Or a Russian prisoner may be coerced into enlistment and earn a meager salary, in rubles.
b- being a member of the Russian bureaucracy and a servant of Vladimir Putin is worth having a slur for, I guess.
2. (noun, adj.)Slur used to refer to any Russian in general, as their currency is rubles.
