A phenomenon that occurs within the jujutsu kaisen manga space when the evil cat (gege) goes on a break to protect himself from the onslaught of sacrificial rituals done by fans for offing their faves until the new chapter drops. it includes using a handful of words in a randomized fashion, akin to a lobotomy patient, to signify how deranged people spend their time. one of my favorite moments in 2023.

Lobotomy Kaisen

Refers to a time period of the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom starting in late 2023 where so much death and tragedy were happening simultaneously both in the manga and anime (ie: Gojo's "death" (my glorious blue eyed king can't die) and Nanami's death), that both the manga and anime fandom's brains effectively malfunctionted, as if they had undergone a botched lobotomy (thus the name), and resorted to shitposting to try and cope with the fact that their favorite characters were dying.
The cope and shitposts aren't exclusive to just deaths, but just about anything having to relate to events in Jujutsu Kaisen (ie: Hakari dancing, or Choso tweaking with that one kitten)

Gojo: With this treasure, I summon... Nah I'd Win.
Fraudkuna: You are my special. You're strong.
Jogoat: This truly has been a Lobotomy Kaisen.
(The dialogue makes absolutely no sense because of how cooked the fandom's brains are)

a person who underwent so much tragedy after the death of Gojo that their brain couldn't cope with the situation and is so damaged beyond repair that they can barely function as a normal member of society (If they weren't already). Sub sequentially this type of procedure will sometime make people post the most confusing and horrendous memes on the internet which would make even god himself question why he bothers even keeping us around.

Lobotomy Kaisen is a catchphrase used to describe fan art, memes and internet posts created by fans of the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen when the show or anime goes on a production break. Coined on the subreddit /r/JujutsuFolk in late 2023, Lobotomy Kaisen is used to describe the influx of JJK memes such as Domain Expansion, Nah I'd Win and Gojo Backshots. The phrase uses the slang term "lobotomy" as a way to describe the chaotic and nonsensical nature of the memes.
