People who unintentually recieve a message that was not intended for them. Or they recieve a message indirectly.

Marlena recieved an email from John to show him how bad the spelling is in an email. He is a serial audience because the point of the email was not ment foe him.

Masturbation Audience

a 'masturbation audience' is an event where a speaker will dramatically retell the most jarring parts of a story in order to incite intense excitement and emotion in their audience without delving into the wider and deeper context which grounds the story

That guy is having a masturbation audience. He keeps telling the story of how he won a spicy wing challenge and won but left out that the wings were only mildly spicy.

An euphemism for progressive audience in entertainment. Usually used when talking about Hollywood or West game development.

Did you see the new Saints Row reboot? The devs said it caters to modern sensibilities and will appeal to a modern audience hence neutering everything the series stood for. What an awesome idea!

The ability to become an instant expert on any subject by opening up a new browser tab, performing a google search and then writing authoritatively on the subject.

I never studied physics, so when I got into an argument about quantum theory with Stephen Hawking I had to audiorob the subject to prove he was wrong.

audisho

a person who jumps onto the bandwagon of a team that his favourite player (eg. Ronaldo) is transferred or signed to. Even if the team is not doing well, the person can still be referred to as an "audisho". Although it is important to be kind and understanding to audisho's that you know because they are very fragile and if you tease them, they could preform an audisho-like move and switch teams again! be careful.
