poetronica

A creative medium that blends the emotional depth and linguistic precision of poetry with the sonic architecture of electronic sound. A term to describe music where the creator used their original poetry to prompt the creation of AI-generated or AI-assisted music. Poetronica is not poetry and not music, but a distinct hybrid form with the DNA of both: language transformed into sound, feeling translated into digital texture, and artistic intent expressed through algorithmic collaboration.

Origin: Coined in 2025 in the LinkedIn article "Poetronica: A new medium between music and verse". The term combines poet- (poetry) and -ronica (from electronic/electronica) to capture a new artistic space where words evolve into immersive digital experiences.
This track started as a poem, but once AI was used to reshape it, into layered synth textures, it became poetronica.
