Someone who thinks they've worked harder at everything than everyone else throughout their lives. Someone who thinks everyone else was just joking around or playing games while they were more committed than everyone else, outdoing them at everything.

He/she was the worst kind of poser, the kind that wanted/expected to be taken seriously at least some of the time (when he/she wanted to, or at oppurtune times). He/she had a high opinion of himself/herself.

She would act like a gangster, a badass, tough little son of a bitch from the streets of Chicago, or a tough/scary little 4'11 broad from New York, but in reality the girl was a poser from outside Harrisburg who was nothing like the characters she posed as.

The girl with the can of spinach tattooed on her arm would act like she was from the South Side of Chicago even though she wasn't even from Illinois and didn't live a day on Central time as a kid. She wanted to show people how much tougher she was than them, that was why she did all this poser stuff.

Even if he/she filed his/her teeth down into serrated edges and wore black contacts, he/she still wouldn't have anybody convinced that he/she was really a shark. He/she was a poser, posing as a man eating denizen of the seas.

Someone who is not who they say they are.

The girl wanted to look like a boy, as long as the boy was an athlete or an astronaut and not a loser. If the boy she was trying to look like was a loser, she would turn into a coward and let a male look like the loser. All of that could be avoided by being yourself, instead of living your life as a poser.
