A liberal is someone who supports - liberty, individual rights, market economy, utilitarianism, limited government, individualism and natural law.
Liberalism has two/three main variants - Classical Liberalism, Social Liberalism, Ordoliberalism (Also National Liberalism, Economic Liberalism and Cultural Liberalism - Not proper ideologies that are describing certain liberal view on an issue)
However, thanks to political illiteracy, Liberalism is now being used synonymously with Socialism, Communism, Progressivism etc. Core value of Liberalism is individual liberty, Liberals dont infringe on rights of the individual.
Also a bummer, Democrats arent Liberals.

Oddly, his comments weren't denounced by blacks but by liberal whites, showing that despite the fact they believe blacks don't get enough respect in the modern world, they also believe that blacks aren't competent enough to voice their own opinions on such important issues and so must do it for them.

I was challenged by a liberal one day for my Christian faith when he saw me praying out in public. He criticized me and claimed I was forcing my religion on him even though I said I was just practicing my freedom of religion, whereupon I also let him know that I didn't expect him to follow my Baptist faith, but he just yelled out at me "REDNECK! REDNECK! YOU FUCKING WARMONGERING, GAY-BASHING, BIBLE-BEATING,CHRISTIAN REDNECK!!!" I said nothing, and then noticed everyone telling him to "Shut the Hell up!"

But since others will eventually catch on to his game and realize Jimmy is simply taking the easy way out, he must coin a new phrase for the events taking place, such as the "reallocation of resources," or "capitalism with a conscience." Now he can guilt his fellow citizens into providing him a thoughtless 9-5 job by pretending to care about those that actually had disadvantages growing up. Jimmy is a liberal.
