Grove Rat

A "Grove Rat" is a person living in the poor Southeast Dallas Inner city neighborhoods known collectively as Pleasant Grove. The term came about first due to a violent city motorcycle gang which started in the 60's the "Grove Rats" which use to hang out near Bruton Terrace near Samuell High School.

The term was first widley used in the 80's due to the living conditions of Pleasant Grove slums where many Rats live and that a Rat would do anything to survive, as in, a human "Grove Rat" would also do anything also to survive.

Man, ain't nothing but a bunch of Grove Rats live off of St. Augustine Road.

An unexpected occurrence in a men's locker room - when a particularly hairy individual drops his towel and decides to bend over to pick something up, revealing his hairy back (and partial front) side, reminiscent of the sesame street character Grover.

every time you get up from your seat you must call out, or declare graves, otherwise your seat is free game. however, you may not have graves on multiple seats, and once you sit somewhere else your graves on the previos seat is voided.

Grover Cleveland

(noun) the name given to one of those relationships that seemingly everyone must go through at least once in their lifetime in which the two parties break up and get back together a countless number of times. During those longer 'broken up' periods, they cannot bring themselves to have feelings for anyone else but can still hook up or "hook up" with others. Also referred to as a person's 'first love relationship.' Generally the relationship when one or both parties loses their virginity but not always.

Grove City

A small town in Western Pennsylvania, which is home to Grove City Cult - also known as Grove City College. The purpose of a college or university is to educate and help people develop character. Therefore, it is necessary to provide diversity and different perspectives in your learning. At Grove City College, surrounded by ignorant, self-centered, naive, and narrow-minded staff, students, and faculty, you’ll be lucky to experience something outside of the white-conservative-Presbyterian culture.
