Bemidji Backscratch

When fishing for muskie and another fish, such as a pike or gar, attempt to eat your bait boatside you may choose to respond with a Bemidji Backscratch. This is simply a firm, yet gentle "scooting"motion or slap with your rod tip on the offending fishes' back. Usually accompanied by encouragement to leave.

When a gar followed my Bobbie into the 8 on Wauby, I gave him the ol' Bemidji Backscratch and told him to git.

Backslang where I grew up was to add sylabbles to the start of words, and change the first letter. It's harder to write than it is to speak. Usually gone with 'G' or 'M', so I remember.

'Say what is that strange language?'
'Backslang, fool.'

Gillgi gillagow gillagar gillagou, would translate to Hi, how are you?

Someone who has a ugly face that is only worthy of sitting in the backseat where no one can see them. Works exceptionally well when in a two seater and they are tucked in the back.

Friend 1: "Hey Erica said she wants to ride shotgun"

Friend 2: "Well not in my car she got that backseat face"

Both get a good laugh "hahahaha"
