Spoken music generally about life in the ghetto. Mainly by black males from area's such as Compton.

Rap isn't music like others, where artists sing about whatever they want. Rap is mainly based around true events.

Rap is a type of music, just like all the rest. All music is god music as long it moves somebody and that's what really matters. You know hating on a subculture was how Hitler started, and it looks like theres 50 thousand of him right here.

Rap music is often quite hard to play with an instroment but is commonly sung by wannabe gagstas and chav toture themselfs by listening to it to get some pathetic respect. Rap vidios are black guys doing women regardless of rasce and talking about guns using the word bitch and making weard hand gestures.

A genre of music that first started out with talented artists and bands such as NWA,Public Enemy,Run DMC,Tupac Shakur,Biggie,and Snoop Dogg just to name a few. Most rap these days would be considered shit for the artists that claim that they are rapping about life in the hood but are basically making music about getting a piece of ass or busting a cap in some punks ass. Basically,50 cent.
