A hostile computer worm made in 2001 that uses common Trojan-horse techniques like masquerading as an email from a friend or an intended download to spread to as many computers as possible. The name originates from the reversed spelling of Admin.

Malwarebytes just found a strain of the Nimda worm on my computer, I'm glad nothing got deleted.
