It's a euphemism for stealing, robbery, theft and fraud. It's also called a "double-spend attack". Used when you want to be subtle about something. It's a polite alternative more crude expressions "got rekt". It's employed primarily by Bitcoin and crypto experts. If you've not been a victim of this, you are not a real crypto as explained by Satoshi Lite.

Now my FaceBook is flooded with all this junk posting (mass posting,chain posting) because Suzie has asked everyone to like and re-post her "loving friends" status update, "Let's see who actually pays attention. This is worse than a chain letter or junk e-mail.
