When two people are texting back and forth about an important topic of conversation. Something you should/could call the person about. It involves over 160 character texts and multiple texts.

Text 1: I think we should break up
Text 2: We are not having this textsation right now.

Other: Breaking up, dating, sex, global warming, etc.

textstraining order

A textstraining order is similar to a restraining order that you apply for when you're having a disagreement with friends, enemies or your significant other. Although it covers only text messaging, it means that they are prohibited from sending you texts for the duration of the textstraining order. This usually occurs after a textmestic.

Jane showed me some texts that John sent her during a textmestic they were having. They were so bad that she applied for a textstraining order. That ought to keep his thumbs idle for a while.

1. When one or more persons engages in text messaging as a result of another person interrupting the conversation by checking their text messages.

2. A communal text check which is contagious, as a yawn is.

We were in the middle of talking about the party last night when sarah received a text message, and then i textyawned without even realizing it. I didn't even have a reason to check my phone.

The text version of chatty.

(i) The act of texting someone over and over again with relatively useless comments.
(ii) An endless sea of mildly interesting but often just annoying texts coming from the same, and often inebriated, party.
(iii)Getting numerous texts over a half hour period , that could have been handled in a 30 second phone conversation .
